While in graduate school, I held two positions inside LoC's Prints & Photographs Division. I worked full-time as a digital archivist, digitally photographing glass-plate negatives from the George Grantham Bain Collection (for JTT). I also completed an archives practicum with the curator of the poster collection, Elena Millie.
During another semester in graduate school, I was awarded an internship by the Lemelson Center to work inside the Archives Center of the Smithsonian Museum of American History. I shared an office with John Fleckner. I also digitized sketch books and other materials of Ralph Baer, the inventor of the video game, among other things.
